“A healthy childhood is great” - this formula becomes the motto when organizing children's summer holidays, and at the same time the rule for a creative approach to holidays - a joyful time of spiritual and physical development of the growth of each child.

Summer holidays make up a significant part of children's free time. This period is the most favorable for improving health. Health is an invaluable asset not only for each person, but for the whole society. Recently, the deterioration in the health of children has become more and more obvious. Therefore, taking care of the health of children is the most important duty of the school, the individual teacher and the child himself. Health is the basis of personality formation. The priority direction of the program is the preparation and organization of educational and recreational work in the summer school camp. Every year, a health-improving shift is held for students in a day camp, which operates on the basis of the school. Children from low-income, large families, children at risk, who are on intra-school control, rest in it. The duration of the shift is 21 days. In the school camp, the child fills his free time with useful things, strengthens his health.

Camp is a new way of life for children, a new mode with its special romantic style and tone. This is life in a new team, this is, finally, a new natural activity. After all, it is not in vain that in the famous song of O. Mityaev it is sung: “Summer is a small life!”, which means that you need to live it in such a way that everyone: both children and those who will organize the rest, would be very cool. This is the time for games, entertainment, freedom in choosing activities, relieving stress accumulated over the year, replenishing spent forces, and restoring health. This is the period of free communication of children. The school health camp is opened on the basis of an order for the establishment and is completed from students in grades 1-8. Enrollment is made on the basis of the application of parents (legal representatives). Detachments are organized in the camp, taking into account age features and the interests of students, the requirements of sanitary and hygienic norms and rules, safety regulations are strictly observed.

The significance of the summer period for the improvement and education of children, the satisfaction of children's interests and broadening one's horizons cannot be overestimated. The problems of organizing summer recreational holidays arise from objective contradictions:

Between the need of the family and the state to have a healthy, strong rising generation and the unsatisfactory state of health of today's children;

Pedagogical care, control and the desire of children to have freedom, engage in self-development, independent creativity.

The camp is located on the basis of the municipal budgetary educational institution of secondary school No. 9. The organization is based on health-saving technologies implemented in a playful way. Program of activities is focused on creating a socially significant psychological environment that complements and corrects the family upbringing of the child, the organization of active, rich recreation for children, and work on maintaining health and a healthy lifestyle. Forming the educational space of the camp, the legend of the camp is laid at the basis of the organization of the shift, according to which all children attending the camp become participants in a long plot-role-playing game with their own laws and rules.

The selection of the head of the camp, educators, counselors is carried out by the school administration. A medical worker carries out periodic monitoring of the sanitary condition of the camp, holding sports events, health monitoring. A close acquaintance with the objects of nature in action, the establishment of cause-and-effect relationships in natural conditions forms in rural schoolchildren their own interests and inclinations.

    The relevance of using nature as a leading pedagogical tool is also explained by environmental problems. AT modern world environmental problems are becoming truly global.     An important area of ​​educational work in the camp is circle activities that unite children according to their interests into small groups. The main objectives of the circles are:

    The creation of a summer day camp with an environmental focus is relevant. In today's world, environmental problems are becoming truly global. At first glance, it may seem that environmental problems are mainly related to cities. However, in practice, there is a change in the nature of soils, low fertility, there are frequent cases of violations of the norms for applying mineral fertilizers, and so on. Therefore, the preservation of the environment is of paramount importance. For children living in rural areas, these problems are close and understandable. The more people consider nature as an object of their concern, the more effective will be the efforts of society to protect it.

    On the basis of MBOU "Secondary School with. Red Sunrise” annually organizes the work of the summer school center. The work of the center is carried out within 1-2 shifts.

    For each shift of the center, a program is drawn up, which is approved by the teachers' council and undergoes an examination. The program is comprehensive and includes several areas: environmental, sports and health, patriotic, preventive, moral and aesthetic, which solve the main educational goals and objectives.

    All activities that are planned for the shift are selected taking into account the age characteristics and interests of children.

    The work of the camp is carried out in close relationship with the employees of various organizations: KFOR, rural library, police department.

    The main goal of the school center is to improve the health of children and adolescents. To achieve this goal, various sports events, games, competitions, daily exercises, sports clubs are held.

    A medical worker is required to work at the summer school camp. Which monitors the health of children, conducts daily examinations, preventive conversations and activities, controls the quality of nutrition and fortification of dishes.
