Life after death: real facts and cases in history. Afterlife What doctors say about clinical death

If an unusual incident happened to you, you saw a strange creature or an incomprehensible phenomenon, you had an unusual dream, you saw a UFO in the sky or became a victim of alien abduction, you can send us your story and it will be published on our website ===> .

Researchers ask the question: “How can the phenomenon of near-death experience be explained?” In doing so, they usually imply that any acceptable explanation must be expressed in terms of concepts - biological, neurological, psychological, with which they are already familiar.

The near-death experience (NDE) phenomenon could be explained if, for example, it could be shown which state of the brain, which drugs or which beliefs cause it.

Those who believe that PSP cannot be explained mean that it cannot be related to any physical or psychological state.

I want to state that this approach to explaining PSP is fundamentally wrong. As far as I know, no one who has experienced PSP feels the need to explain it in the simplified form that the researchers offer. For the PSP survivor, this needs no explanation, for it is exactly what it is. It is at least a direct experience of consciousness or mind or ego or personal identity - existing independently of the physical body. And only in relation to our deeply rooted materialistic paradigm does the PSP need proof, or rather, proof of its impossibility.

The falsity of materialism has been empirically proven; hence what needs to be explained is the collective refusal of academia to look at the facts and accept them for what they are. Today, academia is in the position of the bishop who refused to look through Galileo's telescope. Why is this happening?

Before answering this question, I want to talk about the nature and strength of the facts that refute materialism. In an article published in the Journal of Scientific Exploration in 1998, Emilia Williams Cooke, Bruce Grayson, and Ian Stevenson described "three character traits PSP - increased mental activity, the ability to see the physical body from a different position in space and paranormal perception. They then described 14 cases that met these principles.

From an epistemological point of view, the third criterion, paranormal perception, is the most important. A materialist may, in principle, not explain how a person receives reliable information about events while outside the body.

Consider, for example, the case where the PSP tester accurately recounts a conversation that took place in the waiting room while his body was unconscious in the operating room. Relevant information transmitted in the form of sound or light waves could not leave the reception area, pass through the corridors and climb up the elevators to reach the sense organs of an unconscious person. However, the person wakes up after the operation with the information.

This case (there are many) shows quite directly that there are non-physical ways in which the mind can receive information. This leads to the conclusion that materialism is a false doctrine.

smoking gun

Perhaps one such case is the "smoking gun" that Michael Sabom described in his book Light and Death. In this case, the patient experienced PSP when her body temperature dropped to 60 degrees F and her body was completely bled.

“Her electroencephalogram was silent, there was no reaction of the brain, blood did not enter the brain.” In this state, the brain cannot create any experiences. However, the patient reported a deep PSP.

Those materialists who believe that consciousness is a product of the brain, or that the brain is necessary for conscious experience, cannot explain such cases in terms of their own concepts. An unbiased observer would have to conclude that not all sensations are produced by the brain, and that materialism has been empirically proven to be false. What needs to be explained, therefore, is the extreme failure of academia to consider the evidence and conclude that materialism is a false theory, and consciousness can and does exist independently of the body.

Moreover, PSP is not the only evidence refuting materialism, there are many in other areas of research. Both spiritualism, which has been extensively studied since the time of William James, and the authentic cases described by Stevenson of children remembering their past lives, are replete with facts against materialism.

The best epistemological analysis of such evidence comes from Robert Almeder. After a lengthy and detailed discussion of past life memories, he concluded that "it is rational to believe in reincarnation, given the facts." The correct conclusion, according to Almeder, should be: "It is unreasonable not to believe in reincarnation, given the facts." I agree with Almeder.

Our collective unreasonableness about the wealth of facts that refute materialism manifests itself in two ways: (1) by ignoring the facts, and (2) by insisting on too strict standards of factual evidence, which, if accepted, would make any empirical science impossible.

Dogma and ideology

“Drug-induced hallucinations”, “the last glimpse of a fading brain”, “people see what they want to see” - these were the most common phrases. One conversation particularly made clear to me the fundamental irrationality of pundits regarding the evidence that refutes materialism. I asked, “What about the people who accurately described the details of their operation?”

"Ah," was the reply, "they may have subconsciously heard the conversation in the operating room, and their brain subconsciously translated the auditory information into a visual format."

“Okay,” I replied, “what about cases where people report reliable information about an event that took place far from their body?”

“Oh, it’s just a coincidence or a lucky guess,” they answer.

Losing my patience, I asked, “What does it take to convince you that this is true, maybe you yourself need to experience a near-death state?”

Quite unperturbed, without raising an eyebrow, my colleague replied: “Even if I myself experience such an experience, I will consider it a hallucination, but I will not believe that the mind can exist separately from the body.” He added that dualism (the philosophical thesis that states that mind and matter are independent substances, neither of which can be reduced to the other) is a false theory, and that there can be no proof that is false.

This was an important lesson for me, because before me was an educated, intelligent person who said that he would not leave materialism, no matter what happened. Even his own experiences will not force him to abandon materialism. At that moment, I realized two things. First, this experience weaned me from arguing such things with die-hard colleagues; there is no point in arguing with someone who claims that his views are already established, and he will not change them, no matter what I say.

Secondly, this experience taught me that it is important to distinguish between (a) materialism as an empirical hypothesis about the structure of the world, subject to evidence (this is a sign of a scientific hypothesis - that the facts are essential for its truth or falsity) and (b) materialism as an ideology or a paradigm about how "should" be, which is not subject to facts (this is a sign of an unscientific hypothesis - evidence is not essential for its truth).

My colleague believed in materialism not as a scientific hypothesis that could be wrong, but as a dogma or an ideology that "should" be true despite contradicting facts. For him, materialism is the fundamental paradigm in terms of which everything else is explained, but which itself is unquestionable.

I coined the term "fundamentalist" to refer to those who believe that materialism is an indisputable truth that is not subject to empirical evidence. I call it fundamental materialism for an unambiguous comparison with fundamentalism in religion. Fundamentalism implies the belief in the correctness of one's beliefs.

Just as the Christian fundamentalist is convinced that the world was created in the manner described in the Bible (despite the fossil record), the fundamentalist is convinced that everything that exists is made of matter or physical energy (regardless of the PSP and other evidence). In fact, and this is an important point, their respective belief has nothing to do with the actual evidence. As my fundamentalist colleague put it, "There can be no proof that is not true."

With respect to (a) materialism as an empirical hypothesis about the structure of the world, the evidence against is overwhelming. With respect to (b) materialism as an ideology, proofs are logically impossible. A complicating factor is that the fundamental materialist believes that his belief in materialism is not ideological but empirical. That is, he erroneously classifies himself in category (a), while his behavior clearly falls into category (b).

Skeptics believe that by ignoring and dismissing the evidence against materialism, they are demonstrating a "scientific" approach. But if asked what kind of empirical evidence would convince them that materialism is wrong, they, like my colleague, are usually at a loss as to what to say.

If they are not familiar with the data, then a criterion will be put forward, which, in fact, has already been met. If it is pointed out that there are many documented cases that satisfy the proposed criterion, they will simply make the criterion more stringent, and at some point cross the line between a reasonable requirement for scientific evidence and an unreasonable (and unscientific) requirement for logical evidence.

One of eternal questions, to which humanity does not have an unequivocal answer - what awaits us after death?

Ask this question to the people around you and you will get different answers. They will depend on what the person believes. And regardless of faith, many are afraid of death. They don't just try to acknowledge the very fact of its existence. But only our physical body dies, and the soul is eternal.

There was no time when neither I nor you existed. And in the future, none of us will cease to exist.

Bhagavad Gita. Chapter two. Soul in the world of matter.

Why are so many people afraid of death?

Because they relate their "I" only with the physical body. They forget that each of them has an immortal, eternal soul. They do not know what happens during and after death.

This fear is generated by our ego, which accepts only what can be proven through experience. Is it possible to know what death is and whether there is an afterlife “without harm to health”?

All over the world there are a sufficient number of documented stories of people

Scientists on the verge of proof of life after death

An unexpected experiment was carried out in September 2013. at the English Hospital in Southampton. Doctors recorded the testimonies of patients who had experienced clinical death. Study team leader cardiologist Sam Parnia shared the results:

“Since the early days of my medical career, I have been interested in the problem of “incorporeal sensations”. In addition, some of my patients have experienced clinical death. Gradually, I got more and more stories from those who assured me that in a state of coma they flew over their own body.

However, there was no scientific confirmation of such information. And I decided to find an opportunity to test it in a hospital setting.

For the first time in history, a medical facility was specially refurbished. In particular, in the wards and operating rooms, we hung thick boards with colored drawings under the ceiling. And most importantly, they began to carefully, down to seconds, record everything that happens to each patient.

From the moment his heart stopped, his pulse and breathing stopped. And in those cases when the heart was then able to start and the patient began to recover, we immediately wrote down everything he did and said.

All behavior and all words, gestures of each patient. Now our knowledge of "disembodied sensations" is much more systematized and complete than before.

Almost a third of patients clearly and clearly remember themselves in a coma. At the same time, no one saw the drawings on the boards!

Sam and his colleagues came to the following conclusions:

“From a scientific point of view, the success is considerable. The general sensations of people who, as it were, have been established.

They suddenly begin to understand everything. Completely free from pain. They feel pleasure, comfort, even bliss. They see their dead relatives and friends. They are enveloped in soft and very pleasant light. Around the atmosphere of extraordinary kindness.”

When asked if the participants in the experiment thought they had been to “another world,” Sam replied:

“Yes, and although this world was somewhat mystical for them, it still was. As a rule, patients reached a gate or some other place in the tunnel, from where there was no way back and where it was necessary to decide whether to return ...

And you know, almost everyone now has a completely different perception of life. It has changed due to the fact that a person has passed a moment of blissful spiritual existence. Almost all of my wards admitted that, although they do not want to die.

The transition to the other world turned out to be an unusual and pleasant experience. Many after the hospital began to work in charitable organizations.”

The experiment is currently ongoing. Another 25 British hospitals are joining the study.

The memory of the soul is immortal

The soul exists, and it does not die with the body. Dr. Parnia's confidence is shared by the UK's biggest medical luminary.

The famous professor of neurology from Oxford, the author of works translated into many languages, Peter Fenis rejects the opinion of the majority of scientists on the planet.

They believe that the body, ceasing its functions, releases certain chemicals that, passing through the brain, really cause extraordinary sensations in a person.

“The brain doesn't have time to do the 'closing procedure',” says Prof. Fenis.

“For example, during a heart attack, a person sometimes loses consciousness at lightning speed. Along with consciousness, memory also disappears. So how can you discuss episodes that people are unable to remember?

But since they clearly talk about what happened to them when their brain activity was turned off, therefore, there is a soul, spirit or something else that allows you to be in consciousness outside the body.

What happens after dying?

The physical body is not the only one we have. In addition to it, there are several thin bodies assembled according to the principle of a nesting doll.

The subtle level closest to us is called ether or astral. We simultaneously exist both in the material world and in the spiritual.

In order to maintain life in the physical body, food and drink are needed, in order to maintain vital energy in our astral body, communication with the Universe and with the surrounding material world is necessary.

Death terminates the existence of the densest of all our bodies, and the astral body breaks the connection with reality.

The astral body, being released from the physical shell, is transported to a different quality - to the soul. And the soul has a connection only with the Universe. This process is described in sufficient detail by people who have experienced clinical death.

Naturally, they do not describe its last stage, for they fall only on the closest to the material substance level, their astral body has not yet lost its connection with the physical body, and they are not fully aware of the fact of death.

The transport of the astral body into the soul is called the second death. After that, the soul goes to another world.

Once there, the soul discovers that it consists of different levels, intended for souls of varying degrees of development.

When the death of the physical body occurs, the subtle bodies begin to gradually separate. Thin bodies also have different densities, and, accordingly, it is required different amount time for their collapse.

On the third day after the physical, the etheric body, which is called the aura, disintegrates.

Nine days later the emotional body disintegrates, in forty days mental body. The body of the spirit, soul, experience - casual - is sent to the space between lives.

Suffering greatly for departed loved ones, we thereby prevent their subtle bodies from dying at the right time. Thin shells get stuck where they shouldn't be. Therefore, you need to let them go, thanking for all the experience lived together.

Is it possible to consciously look beyond the other side of life?

As a person puts on new clothes, discarding the old and worn out, so the soul incarnates in a new body, leaving the old and lost strength.

Bhagavad Gita. Chapter 2. Soul in the material world.

Each of us has lived more than one life, and this experience is stored in our memory.

Every soul has a different experience of dying. And it can be remembered.

Why remember the experience of dying in past lives? To take a different look at this stage. To understand what actually happens at the moment of dying and after it. Finally, to stop being afraid of death.

At the Institute of Reincarnation, you can experience dying using simple techniques. For those in whom the fear of death is too strong, there is a safety technique that allows you to painlessly view the process of the exit of the soul from the body.

Here are some student testimonials about their experience of dying.

Kononuchenko Irina , a first-year student at the Institute of Reincarnation:

I looked through several dying in different bodies: female and male.

After a natural death in a female incarnation (I am 75 years old), the soul did not want to ascend to the World of Souls. I was left to wait for my husband, who still lived. In life he was for me important person and close friend.

Feels like we lived soul to soul. I died first, the Soul came out through the area of the third eye. Understanding the grief of her husband after “my death”, I wanted to support him with my invisible presence, and I didn’t want to leave myself. After some time, when both of them "got used to and got used to" in the new state, I ascended to the World of Souls and waited for him there.

After natural death in the body of a man (harmonious incarnation), the Soul easily said goodbye to the body and ascended to the world of Souls. There was a feeling of a mission accomplished, a lesson successfully passed, a feeling of satisfaction. Immediately there was a discussion of life.

In a violent death (I am a man dying on the battlefield from a wound), the Soul leaves the body through the chest area, there is a wound. Until the moment of death, life flashed before my eyes.

I am 45 years old, my wife, children ... I so want to see them and hug them .. and I’m like this .. it’s not clear where and how ... and alone. Tears in the eyes, regret for the "unlived" life. After leaving the body, it is not easy for the Soul, it is again met by the Helping Angels.

Without additional energy reconfiguration, I (the soul) cannot independently free myself from the burden of incarnation (thoughts, emotions, feelings). It seems like a "capsule-centrifuge", where through a strong rotation-acceleration there is an increase in frequencies and a "separation" from the experience of incarnation.

Marina Kana, 1st year student of the Institute of Reincarnation:

In total, I went through 7 experiences of dying, of which three were violent. I will describe one of them.

Young woman, Ancient Russia. I was born in a large peasant family, I live in unity with nature, I love to spin with my girlfriends, sing songs, walk in the forest and in the fields, help my parents with the housework, babysit younger brothers and sisters.

Men are not interested, the physical side of love is not clear. A guy wooed, but she was afraid of him.

I saw how she carried water on a yoke, he blocked the road, pesters: “You will still be mine!” To prevent others from wooing, I started a rumor that I was not of this world. And I’m glad, I don’t need anyone, I told my parents that I won’t get married.

She did not live long, she died at the age of 28, she was not married. She died of a strong fever, lay in the heat and delirium all wet, her hair matted with sweat. Mother sits nearby, sighs, wipes with a wet rag, gives water to drink from a wooden ladle. The soul flies out of the head, as if it is pushed out from the inside when the mother went out into the hallway.

The soul looks down on the body, no regret. The mother enters and begins to cry. Then the father comes running to the screams, shaking his fists at the sky, shouting to the dark icon in the corner of the hut: “What have you done!” The children huddled together, hushed and frightened. The soul leaves calmly, no one is sorry.

Then the soul seems to be drawn into a funnel, flying up to the light. The outlines are similar to steam clubs, next to them are the same clouds, spinning, intertwining, rushing up. Fun and easy! Knows that life has lived as planned. In the World of Souls, laughing, the beloved soul meets (this is unfaithful). She understands why she left life early - it became not interesting to live, knowing that he was not in incarnation, she strove for him faster.

Simonova Olga , 1st year student of the Institute of Reincarnation

All my deaths were similar. Separation from the body and a smooth rise above it .. and then just as smoothly up above the Earth. Basically, these are natural deaths in old age.

One overlooked the violent (cutting off of the head), but she saw it outside the body, as if from the outside and did not feel any tragedy. On the contrary, relief and gratitude to the executioner. Life was aimless, female incarnation. The woman wanted to commit suicide in her youth, as she was left without parents.

She was saved, but even then she lost her meaning in life and was never able to restore it ... Therefore, she accepted a violent death as a blessing for her.

Part 1 is here. It can be assumed that of all scientific disciplines, it is philosophy that should be most interested in research into the phenomenon of near-death experiences (NDEs) and carefully study them. After all, doesn't philosophy deal with questions of higher wisdom, the meaning of life, the relationship between the body, consciousness, and God?

Near-death experiences provide data that are directly related to all of these questions. How is it possible that philosophy has managed to collectively ignore and even ridicule these studies? To those who are not connected with academic philosophy, it may seem incredible that the vast majority of academic philosophers are atheists and materialists. Incorrectly using science to support their materialism, they systematically ignore scientific evidence that refutes their worldview.

Even more surprising is that even those philosophers who are not materialists (and their number, I think, is growing) refuse to look at these data. One might assume that Cartesian dualists or Platonists would greedily seize on data that convincingly supports their view that consciousness is superior to the physical world, but this is not the case.

To my surprise, he was as skeptical as my fellow fundamentalist. When I asked him why he was not interested, he replied that his beliefs in God, the afterlife, etc. based on faith; if these things were proven empirically, then there would be no room for faith, which is the basis of his religious beliefs.

I realized that PSPs are caught between two fires because they are not taken seriously by the two sciences, philosophy and theology, which should be interested in this phenomenon. As soon as theology and religion open the door to empirical data, there is a danger that these data may contradict some aspects of faith. Indeed, it did.

PSP data, for example, says that God is not vengeful, he does not punish or condemn us, and is not angry with us for our "sins"; of course, there is condemnation, but, in this all the stories about the PSP agree, this condemnation comes from the individual himself, and not from the Divine Being.

It seems that all God can give us is unconditional love. But the concept of an all-loving, non-punitive God runs counter to the teachings of many religions, so it's no surprise that religious fundamentalists don't feel comfortable.

Strange Allies

Over the years, I have come to the conclusion that both the atheist and the believer, from the fundamentalist to the fundamentalist, have something in common. Indeed, from an epistemological point of view, this commonality is much more important than where their views differ. They agree on the following: beliefs relating to the possible existence of a transcendental reality - God, soul, afterlife, etc. are based on faith, not facts. If so, then there can be no actual evidence to support these beliefs.

The belief that belief in a transcendental reality cannot be empirically verified is so deeply rooted in our culture that it has the status of a taboo. This taboo is very democratic because it allows everyone to believe what they want to believe. This allows the fundamental materialist to feel comfortable, being convinced that the mind is on his side, that there is no afterlife, and those who believe otherwise have fallen victim to irrational forces, wishful thinking. But it also allows the fundamentalist to feel comfortable believing that God is on their side, and those who think otherwise have fallen prey to the forces of evil and the Devil.

Thus, although the fundamentalist and the fundamental materialist take extreme opposite positions on the question of the afterlife, these extreme positions unite them as "strange allies" in the fight against the actual evidence of the afterlife that empirical research can find. The very suggestion that empirical research can confirm beliefs in a transcendental reality contradicts this taboo and threatens many elements of our culture.

Meaning of life

The study of the PSP has led to the following unequivocal conclusion: those who have experienced the PSP confirm the core values common to most of the world's religions. They agree that the purpose of life is knowledge and love. A study of the transformative impact of NSP shows that cultural values such as wealth, status, material things, etc. are becoming much less important, and eternal values such as love, caring for others, and the divine are becoming more important.

That is, the study showed that PSP survivors not only verbally proclaim the values of love and knowledge, but also try to act in accordance with these values, if not completely, then at least to a greater extent than before PSP.

As long as religious values are presented as simply religious values, popular culture it is not difficult to ignore them or mention them in passing during the Sunday morning sermon. But if those same values are presented as empirically verified scientific facts, then everything will change. If the belief in an afterlife is accepted not on the basis of faith or speculative theology, but as a confirmed scientific hypothesis, then our culture will not be able to ignore it. In fact, this will mean the end of our culture in its present form.

Consider the following scenario: further research on the PSP confirms in detail what has already been found; more cases of confirmed authentic "out-of-body" experiences have been collected and documented; advanced medical technology makes even more cases of the “smoking gun” type described above possible; the study of those who experienced PSP confirms the already noted change in their behavior associated with newly acquired (or recently strengthened) spiritual values, etc. Studies are duplicated in different cultures with the same results.

Finally, the weight of the actual evidence begins to show, and scientists are ready to announce to the world, if not as a fact, then at least as a sufficiently confirmed scientific hypothesis:

(1) There is an afterlife.

(2) Our true identity is not our body, but our mind or consciousness.

(3) Although the details of the afterlife are not known, we are sure that everyone will have a re-examination of his life, during which he will experience not only every event and every emotion, but also the consequences of his behavior, positive or negative. The usual defense mechanisms by which we hide from ourselves our sometimes cruel and unmerciful attitude towards others do not seem to operate during life review.

(4) The meaning of life is love and knowledge, learn as much as possible about this world and the transcendental world, and increase our ability to feel kindness and mercy towards all living beings.

(5) Harming others, both physically and psychologically, will turn out to be a great nuisance to us, since any pain that has been caused to others will be experienced as one's own during the revision.

This scenario is by no means contrived. I believe there is enough evidence to present the above statements as "likely" and "more possible than not". Further research will only increase this possibility.

When this happens, the effect will be revolutionary. When science announces these discoveries, it will no longer be possible to do business in the same way as before. It would be interesting to speculate on what an economy would look like if it tried to fit the five empirical hypotheses above, but that is beyond the scope of this article.

The discoveries of PSP researchers will mark the beginning of the end of a culture whose driving force are greed and ambition, which measures success in terms of material wealth, reputation, social status etc. Consequently, modern culture has a huge interest in hindering research on the PSP by ignoring, refuting and downplaying research findings.

I will end the article with a short story. Charles Broad, writing in the mid-20th century, was President of the British Society for Physical Research. He was the last philosopher with an international reputation who believed there was something to it. Towards the end of his life, he was asked how he would feel if he found that he was still alive after the death of his physical body. He replied that he would rather be disappointed than surprised. Wouldn't be surprised since his research led him to conclude that the afterlife most likely exists. Why disappointed? His answer was disarmingly honest.

He said that he lived a good life: he was financially secure and enjoyed the respect and admiration of his students and colleagues. But there is no guarantee that his status, reputation and wealth will be preserved in the afterlife. The rules by which success is measured in the afterlife may be quite different from the rules by which success is measured in this life.

Indeed, PSP research suggests that Charles Broad's fears are well-founded, that "success" by otherworldly standards is measured not in terms of publications, merit, or reputation, but in kindness and compassion for others.

One of the main questions for all remains the question of what awaits us after death. For millennia, unsuccessful attempts have been made to unravel this mystery. In addition to conjectures, there are real facts confirming that death is not the end of the human path.

There are a large number of videos about paranormal phenomena that have conquered the Internet. But even in this case, there are a lot of skeptics who say that the videos can be faked. It is difficult to disagree with them, because a person is not inclined to believe in what he cannot see with his own eyes.

There are many stories of people coming back from the dead when they were about to die. How to perceive such cases is a matter of faith. However, often even the most hardened skeptics have changed themselves and their lives, faced with situations that cannot be explained with the help of logic.

Religion about death

The vast majority of religions in the world have teachings about what awaits us after death. The most common is the doctrine of Heaven and Hell. Sometimes it is supplemented with an intermediate link: "walking" through the world of the living after death. Some peoples believe that such a fate awaits suicides and those who have not finished something important on this Earth.

This concept is seen in many religions. For all the difference, they are united by one thing: everything is tied to good and bad, and the posthumous state of a person depends on how he behaved during his lifetime. It is impossible to write off the religious description of the afterlife. There is life after death unexplained facts this is confirmed.

One day something amazing happened to a priest who was the pastor of the Baptist Church in the United States of America. A man was driving his car home from a meeting about the construction of a new church, but a truck flew towards him. The accident could not be avoided. The collision was so strong that the man fell into a coma for a while.

An ambulance arrived shortly, but it was too late. The man's heart was not beating. The doctors confirmed the cardiac arrest by rechecking. They had no doubt that the man was dead. Around the same time, the police arrived at the scene of the accident. Among the officers there was a Christian who saw a cross in the priest's pocket. Immediately he noticed his clothes and realized who was in front of him. He could not send God's servant on his last journey without prayer. He spoke the words of prayer as he climbed into the dilapidated car and took the hand of the man with no beating heart. While reading the lines, he heard a barely perceptible groan, which plunged him into shock. He checked his pulse again and realized that he could clearly feel the pulse of blood. Later, when the man miraculously recovered and began to live his former life, this story became popular. Perhaps the man really returned from the other world to finish important things at the behest of God. Anyway, but scientific explanation they could not give it, because the heart cannot start on its own.

The priest himself said more than once in his interviews that he saw only white light and nothing more. He could take advantage of the situation and say that the Lord himself spoke to him or that he saw angels, but he did not. A couple of reporters claimed that when asked about what the person saw in this afterlife dream, he smiled discreetly, and his eyes filled with tears. Perhaps he really saw something intimate, but did not want to make it public.

When people are in a short coma, their brain does not have time to die during this time. That is why it is worth paying attention to the numerous stories that people, being between life and death, saw a light so bright that even through closed eyes it seeps through as if the eyelids are transparent. One hundred percent of people came back to life and told that the light began to move away from them. Religion interprets this very simply - their time has not yet come. A similar light was seen by the Magi approaching the cave where Jesus Christ was born. It is the radiance of paradise, the afterlife. No one saw angels, God, but felt the touch of higher powers.

Dreams are another matter. Scientists have proven that we can dream anything that our brain can imagine. In a word, dreams are not limited by anything. It happens that people see their dead relatives in dreams. If 40 days have not passed after death, then this means that the person really talked to you from the afterlife. Unfortunately, dreams cannot be analyzed objectively from two points of view - from scientific and religious-esoteric, because it's all about sensations. You may dream of the Lord, angels, heaven, hell, ghosts and whatever, but you do not always feel that the meeting was real. It happens that in dreams we remember the deceased grandparents or parents, but only occasionally does a real spirit come to someone in a dream. We all understand that it will not be realistic to prove our feelings, so no one spreads their impressions further than beyond the family circle. Those who believe in the afterlife, and even those who doubt, wake up after such dreams with a completely different view of the world. Spirits can predict the future, which has happened more than once in history. They can show discontent, joy, sympathy.

There are quite famous story, which occurred in Scotland in the early 70s of the 20th century with an ordinary builder. A residential building was being built in Edinburgh. The construction worker was Norman MacTagert, who was 32 years old. He fell from a rather great height, lost consciousness and fell into a coma for a day. Shortly before that, he dreamed of a fall. After he woke up, he told what he saw in a coma. According to the man, it was a long journey, because he wanted to wake up, but he could not. First he saw that same blinding bright light, and then he met his mother, who said that she always wanted to become a grandmother. The most interesting thing is that as soon as he regained consciousness, his wife told him about the most pleasant news that is possible - Norman was supposed to become a dad. The woman found out about the pregnancy on the day of the tragedy. The man had serious health problems, but he not only survived, but also continued to work and feed his family.

In the late 90s, something very unusual happened in Canada.. The doctor on duty at a Vancouver hospital was taking calls and filling out paperwork, but then she saw little boy in white pajamas. He yelled from the other end of the emergency room, "Tell my mom not to worry about me." The girl was frightened that one of the patients had left the ward, but then she saw the boy go through the closed doors of the hospital. His house was a couple of minutes from the hospital. That's where he ran. The doctor was alarmed by the fact that it was three in the morning on the clock. She decided that she must by all means catch up with the boy, because even if he is not a patient, he must be reported to the police. She ran after him for just a couple of minutes, until the child ran into the house. The girl began to ring the doorbell, after which the mother of that same boy opened the door for her. She said that it was impossible for her son to leave the house, because he was very sick. She burst into tears and went to the room where the baby lay in his crib. It turned out that the boy had died. The story received a great response in society.

In the brutal World War II one ordinary Frenchman fired back from the enemy for almost two hours during a battle in the city . Next to him was a man about 40 years old, who covered him from the other side. It is impossible to imagine how great was the surprise of an ordinary soldier of the French army, who turned in that direction to say something to his partner, but realized that he had disappeared. A few minutes later, the cries of the approaching allies were heard, hurrying to the rescue. He and several other soldiers ran out to meet the help, but the mysterious partner was not among them. He searched for him by name and rank, but never found that same fighter. Perhaps it was his guardian angel. Doctors say that in such stressful situations, slight hallucinations are possible, but a conversation with a man for an hour and a half cannot be called an ordinary mirage.

There are many such stories about life after death. Some of them are confirmed by eyewitnesses, but the doubters still call it a fake and try to find scientific justification for the actions of people and their visions.

Real facts about the afterlife

Since ancient times, there have been cases when people saw ghosts. They were first photographed and then filmed. Some people think that this is a montage, but later they are personally convinced of the veracity of the pictures. Numerous stories cannot be considered proof of the existence of life after death, so people need evidence and scientific facts.

Fact one: many have heard that after death a person becomes lighter by exactly 22 grams. Scientists cannot explain this phenomenon in any way. Many believers tend to believe that 22 grams is the weight of the human soul. Many experiments were carried out, which ended with the same result - the body became lighter by a certain amount. Why is the main question. People's skepticism cannot be destroyed, so many hope that an explanation will be found, but this is unlikely to happen. Ghosts can be seen by the human eye, hence their "body" has mass. Obviously, everything that has some kind of shape must be at least partly physical. Ghosts exist in larger dimensions than we do. There are 4 of them: height, width, length and time. Time is not subject to ghosts from the point of view from which we see it.

Fact two: the air temperature near the ghosts decreases. This is typical, by the way, not only for the souls of dead people, but also for the so-called brownies. All this is the result of the action of the afterlife in reality. When a person dies, the temperature around him immediately decreases sharply, literally for a moment. This indicates that the soul leaves the body. The temperature of the soul is about 5-7 degrees Celsius, as measurements show. During paranormal phenomena, the temperature also changes, so scientists have proven that this happens not only during immediate death, but also afterwards. The soul has a certain radius of influence around itself. Many horror films use this fact to bring the shooting closer to reality. Many people confirm that when they felt the movement of a ghost or some kind of entity next to them, they were very cold.

Here is an example video from paranormal activity, which depicts real ghosts.

The authors claim that this is not a joke, and the experts who watched this compilation say that about half of all such videos are the real truth. Particularly noteworthy is the part of this video where the girl is pushed by the ghost in the bathroom. Experts report that physical contact is possible and absolutely real, and the video is not a fake. Almost all pictures of moving pieces of furniture can be true. The problem is that it is very easy to fake such a video, but there was no acting in the moment where the chair next to the sitting girl began to move by itself. There are very, very many such cases around the world, but no less of those who just want to promote their video and become famous. Distinguishing fake from the truth is difficult, but real.
