How to draw princess moon

Today we will draw the princess of the moon from the animated series "My Little Pony" (My little ponies), on Russian television the series is called "Friendship is a miracle." Princess Luna is a sister, her duty was to raise the moon over the country.

Step 1. Using thin lines, draw a circle and a curve indicating the direction of the face of Princess Luna. Then we draw a bang, a contour of the head and an ear at the princess of the Moon.

Step 2. We draw an eye and eyelashes. There is no special technique for drawing this eye, we just copy it. Click on the picture to enlarge. Erase circle and curve.

Step 3. Draw a horn and a crown on the head of the princess of the moon, draw a mouth. Then we start drawing the body. You don't have to draw two circles, it's like an auxiliary element. Note that the distance from the neck to the lower body is the same as the distance from the neck to the top of the head.

Step 4. We draw near legs (hooves) of the princess of the Moon. I also drew an auxiliary line so that you can see what the length of the legs should be, the segments a, b, c are the same. The legs of the princess of the moon should be approximately in the ratio, if the distance from the neck to the bottom of the body is 10 cm, then from the line of the bottom of the body to the end of the legs 13.5 cm.

STEP 5. Draw the rest of Princess Luna's legs.

Step 6. We draw a necklace on a breast, a wing and a symbol of the moon on a hip. Click on the next picture for a larger version. On the side is drawn, how correctly, in terms of scale, to draw the symbol of the moon on the necklace.

Step 7. Draw decoration on the hooves. Click on the next picture for a larger version.

Step 8. Take an eraser and erase all the lines we don't need (the line in the front leg, on the chest, where the body meets the necklace, at the junctions of the hooves). Then we draw developing hair at the princess of the Moon.

Step 9. We outline all the lines well, thicker, where we need to paint over.
