Read a reference book on the Russian language. Textbooks and reference books on Russian language and literature. ELI Picture Dictionary Russian \ Illustrated Dictionary "Russian Language" - Joy Oliver, Alfredo Brazioli

While working on this article, I read a lot of reviews from parents on various forums. Most of the reviews were negative. And you know what made me think that these reviews are subjective? The fact that absolutely all programs, all textbooks are criticized, all compilers are slandered. Parents do not want to take part in the education of their own children - this is the main idea that I took away from these negative reviews. And all or almost all positive reviews sounded the same: “We have a wonderful teacher. Everyone understands everything. We love the Russian language.” It turns out that the problem is not in the textbooks, but in the teacher. Parents and teachers (and sometimes they are the same person) must make mutual efforts to teach each child. And neither the parent nor the teacher have the moral right to shift everything to the opposite side.

I also think it is extremely important to note the fact that each textbook has its own way of presenting the material. And you can teach a child using almost any textbook. It is important that the teacher or parent is interested in the child's understanding of the material, and not just in good grades. If difficulties arise with studying the material, the adult must adequately approach the child to overcome them, varying the presentation of rules or tasks, adapting them to the individual qualities of the student.

Elementary School:

Zankov program

Polyakova A.V.

Not a bad textbook. But... The material is presented dryly. It is not always clear to a child. The child needs a lot either explained and detailed, or explained anew. In my opinion, unpleasant illustrations. The tasks are quite varied; if presented correctly, it is possible to develop an acceptable level of literacy. The level is slightly above average.

Nechaeva N.V., S.G. Yakovleva

Our daughter studied from this textbook. There's a lot I like about it. But, again, the teacher needs to pay a LOT of attention to individualizing the rules and explaining the tasks. The textbook is much more complicated than many others, but if it is presented correctly, the level of knowledge will be higher. The negativity that is often found in reviews from parents, in my opinion, is completely unfounded.

- “Primary school of the XXI century” (edited by Prof. N.F. Vinogradova)

Ivanov S.V., Evdokimova A.O., Kuznetsova M.I., Petlenko L.V.

Based on 12 years of practice, I categorically declare that this is the worst textbook on the Russian language. The tasks are not understandable to either children or adults, only to methodologists. Lots of unnecessary material. Can anyone clearly answer why a child in 3rd grade needs to know the categories of adjectives? Absolutely no need. To all the children who had or have this program at school, I have to explain everything again, not like in the textbook, and make signs with generalized rules. The book is extremely unintuitive.

- “School 2100”

R. N. Buneev, E. V. Buneeva, O. V. Pronina

A textbook clearly developed, as it is now fashionable to say, taking into account the latest research and innovative techniques. And this clearly did not benefit either the Russian language or the children. It is not pleasant to see structures such as “problem solving” being introduced into the minds of young children. Problems?! There are no problems in learning a language! But there are no major ambiguities with the presentation of the material; the rules, in principle, are clear. In my opinion, there is not enough exercise.

- "Perspective"

Klimanova L.F., Makeeva S.G., Babushkina T.V.

A very good textbook. Classic form and acceptable content. The topics are in a relatively logical order. A somewhat controversial issue with the analysis of verbs by composition. As always, children sometimes do not understand the rules and definitions. With a competent and interested approach from a teaching adult, the textbook will ensure the child’s literacy. Difficulty: medium.

- "School of Russia"

Kanakina V.P., Goretsky V.G.,

Zelenina L.M., Khokhlova T.E.

Good classic textbooks. Most children have no problem at all. And parents, most likely, will not have to look on the Internet for a different wording of the rules. Visual presentation of new topics. There are a lot of tasks. There is a slight lack of variety, but this gap is easily filled with additional benefits. The decor is dim and calm.

- "Promising Primary School"

Churakova N.A., Kalenchuk M.L., Malakhovskaya O.V., Baykova T.A.

An interesting, although not very successful, textbook. Not intuitive presentation of material. But, if you understand the logic of the authors, you can make an interesting experience. The textbook makes a commendable attempt to rid the study of the Russian language of stereotypes. With constant support and explanation from adults, the child will be able to learn the basic rules of the language at a normal level. The design, in my opinion, is unpleasant - too pockmarked.)

- “Planet of Knowledge”

Andrianova T.M., Ilyukhina V.A.

Zheltovskaya L.Ya., Kalinina O.B.

Very clear tutorial. Well chosen fonts. An accessible presentation of rules and tasks. It will take a minimum of effort on the part of an adult to explain new topics. But phonetic analysis does not have a classic look. Although, if you look at it, it’s quite convenient and understandable. The textbook is very patriotic. The Orthodox background is clearly visible.

- “Harmony” (edited by N.B. Istomina)

M. S. Soloveichik, N. S. Kuzmenko

The presentation of material in this textbook is designed to prepare the child to anticipate possible places of error. This is an extremely useful skill. But it requires a very competent teacher who understands and loves the Russian language. Without such a person, the child will be doomed to illiteracy and the “Albanian language”. The presentation is generally clear. A soft form of interaction with the child has been implemented. Perhaps for some, the lack of clear formulation of tasks will be a disadvantage.

Classic elementary school. Rhythm

T.G.Ramzaeva

An accessible, classic textbook. Perhaps one of the best textbooks of intermediate difficulty level. The material is presented in accordance with the age-related logical structure. The tasks and rules are clear and clearly stated. In itself, a textbook with content of a somewhat higher level. There are topics that are not included in the Federal minimum. But nothing prevents you from learning the language. The illustrations are a bit lacking.

High school:

Ladyzhenskaya T.A., Baranov M.T., Trostentsova L.A. and etc.

A textbook in many ways similar to Soviet publications. Lots of exercises, rules laid out quite clearly. Topics within the core requirements. In my opinion, there is a bit of a lack of creative assignments (essays, discussions). Medium level of difficulty.

- Bystrova E.A., Kibireva L.V. and etc.

This textbook belongs to the category of complicated ones, that is, designed for in-depth study of the Russian language. The textbook contains more than enough tasks for speech development, and also gives quite a lot of new topics that are not covered in classical programs. It can be recommended to those children who want to study philology. For others it will be a bit difficult.

- Rybchenkova L.M.

A good, accessible, well-written textbook. The design, on the one hand, does not distract from the topic of the lesson, but, on the other hand, reduces the psychological load. The textbook is easy to understand. The topics are arranged in a logical order. The complexity of the content is low. Whether this is a plus or a minus is up to you to decide.

UMC V. V. Babaytseva, L. D. Chesnokova, A. Yu. Kupalova, E. I. Nikitina and others.

Theoretical material is designed for in-depth study of the Russian language. But clear language will allow most children to cope with the material. In general, “Theory” is a guide useful for all schoolchildren and their parents. In my opinion, a small disadvantage is the small number of summary tables.

Particularly suitable for work in gymnasiums and classes with in-depth study of humanitarian subjects. “Russian speech” teaches how to conduct a conversation; make plans for creative work; write summaries and essays on a free topic or on a picture, as well as reviews and reviews; be able to see figurative means of language and use them in your speech.

- Shmelev A.D.

This textbook is well designed. It contains a wide variety of tasks, which allows you to learn the language in a variety of ways. The wording of all tasks is available without additional explanation. The book contains many nuances that allow you to better master a new topic. The presentation of the material is clear and easy to understand. In my opinion, a very good option for a teaching aid.

- Razumovskaya M.M.

An intermediate level textbook that contains many tasks for speech development. The formulation of rules and tasks is not always clear. The fonts are not very well chosen, so texts and assignments can merge. Although this problem is very common in other textbooks. Somewhat monotonous tasks.

Textbooks and manuals on the Russian language, not included in the school curriculum, but, nevertheless, being one of the best manuals at the moment:

-Akhremenkova L.A. "Towards A, step by step."

These manuals are very conveniently constructed. They allow you, when studying new material, not to forget old, long-studied material. The entire system of the book is designed for repetition and consolidation of competent writing skills. A child (if desired) can use it with minimal adult involvement. I often use them in my practice.

-Shklyarova T.V. "Russian language. We study at school and at home."

And I have a special relationship with these textbooks. For all its complexity and specificity (anyone working with it should understand the author’s methodology), these are the best textbooks for learning the Russian language. The author offers a method that will allow a child to write with a minimum of errors based on an understanding of the structure and logic of spelling. How not to make a mistake is the goal of the technique. In general, the level of the textbook is significantly above average.

K. Chukovsky. Alive as life.- M.: KDU, 2004

This is perhaps my favorite book about the Russian language. Korney Chukovsky is great in his different guises. It is difficult for me to imagine a writer, translator, critic, or, finally, just an intellectual who understands language the way linguists understand it. That is, not horrified by the illiteracy of others, the mistakes of young people, etc. (or at least not only horrified), but aware of the inevitability of changes in language and its norms.

Many of Chukovsky’s thoughts and words seem to be written about our time. Here, for example: “The years passed, and I, in turn, became an old man. Now, at my age, I am supposed to hate the words that are introduced into our speech by young people and cry out about the corruption of the language. Moreover, like any of my contemporaries, more words immediately flooded into me in two or three years than my grandfathers and great-grandfathers over the past two and a half centuries.” (I remind you that the book was published in 1962!) Chukovsky, despite the fact that it is supposed to be so, does not hate them. Although there are some things he still hates. For this object he hated, he coined a term that has outlived its time and is still used today - “office worker.” One of the chapters of his book, in fact, is called that.

Maxim Krongauz, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Director of the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian State University for the Humanities, Head of the Department of Russian Language of the Russian State University for the Humanities

2. Impeccable taste and language variations

N. Gal. The word is alive and dead.— M.: Vremya, 2012

Nora Gal analyzes speech inaccuracies or mistakes in detail and makes a very clear diagnosis, but unlike Chukovsky, she almost never forgives these mistakes. That is why the book is so close to many readers with a philological education and generally intelligent people. After all, language, as we know, is an excellent tool for establishing social hierarchy, and knowledge of literary norms and impeccable linguistic taste elevate a cultured person to the top of the social pyramid. But the linguist, even if he is not devoid of linguistic taste, for some reason resists and strives to insert at least one “but”. What a linguist! Personally, I resist almost the same way when an editor wants to improve my speech and replaces “enough” with “quite” and “difficult” with “difficult.” It is extremely important to me that Russian can be spoken and written in different ways, and this diversity cannot be reduced to a single “correct” style. And it is precisely this that gives language the ability to change, so that what is wrong becomes right and vice versa.

3. To love or not to love Russian spelling?

M.V. Panov. And yet she is good.- M., 1964 (2nd ed., revised), M.: Verbum-M, 2007

Today, linguists quite often write popular books, but in his generation, Mikhail Viktorovich Panov was, apparently, the only one. I would generally call him a pioneer. Unlike many linguists, he loved to write clearly and captivatingly, sometimes surprising the reader. His book begins with a wonderful phrase: “I know that many of my readers are bad at spelling.” Essentially speaking, this phrase and the title of the book describe its content - the author explains to the reader why one can and should love Russian spelling.

4. Russian language of the early twentieth century - an outside view

S.I. Kartsevsky. Language, war and revolution (From the linguistic heritage).— M.: Languages of Russian culture, 2000

This small book was published in Berlin in 1923. It contains extremely interesting observations on the changes in the Russian language since 1905. The author was in exile at that time, and this allowed him to be more frank. It was Kartsevsky who preserved for us all sorts of names of the Cheka - from chrezvychaika, chaika and chezcherka to Verochka (All-Russian Cheka), Manechka and Emochka (Moscow Cheka). From him, by the way, we learned that the expression “Vera Mikhailovna” meant capital punishment, and “to die of remorse” meant “to be shot.” The book is read with great interest and, due to its brevity, is accessible to everyone.

5. Monument to the era

A.M. Selishchev. The language of the revolutionary era. From observations of the Russian language (1917-1926). - M.: URSS, 2003

The book appeared in 1928 and still remains the most complete description of the language of the revolutionary era. The Russian language is described against the background of French of the 17th-18th centuries, which allows the reader to see striking analogies. During Soviet times, the book was kept in a special storage facility, and it is unclear why the author was not imprisoned immediately after its publication. Here is just one quote for which this can be done (though Afanasy Matveevich Selishchev himself carefully refers to the newspaper “Working Moscow”): “It’s not for nothing that some people say - he speaks incomprehensibly - that means he’s a Bolshevik.”

0. Intensive Russian language course. N. M. Rumyantseva, I. S. Guseva

Intensive Russian language course - a textbook for those who want to quickly learn Russian from scratch. Most reviews about this textbook look something like this: “The textbook is wonderful! Very interesting methodology! Works great)) I use it with my students (Russian as a foreign language, basic level). Thank you!” And I can say that the textbook is really worthwhile. Using it you can very quickly master the required initial level of the Russian language, which will allow you to write, speak, and understand Russian.

Let's get acquainted. Russian as a foreign language. Part No. 2.

The textbook of Russian as a foreign language based on English is intended for English-speaking students who are mastering first certification level fluency in the Russian language, emphasis is placed on developing oral and written communication skills, and understanding the Russian culture of communication.

Very good textbook. I was especially impressed by the selection illustrations and dialogues. I use it for children aged 7 years and older who grew up in mixed families abroad. I am constantly looking for new materials for my subject. I haven't found a better textbook yet.

I agree - the book is wonderful. I have been teaching Russian as a foreign language for a long time. I suffered for many years because there was no normal literature that could be used to study with the middle group of children - children 10-15 years old. And here, I came across Khamraeva’s book! Thank you very much! The book is nice to hold good illustrations...The program was compiled competently and correctly. I recommend it to anyone who teaches or teaches.

The only normal RCT textbook for children. I was afraid that it would be annoying All instructions and explanations are in English, but the children even like it, since almost everyone is now learning English. The book is good: illustrations, texts, dialogues, exercises.... The grammar is a little difficult to explain, but still explained. Recommended for children over 12 years old, but I even use it with children 8-9 years old, everything is ok. Thanks to the author for the book!
