Explanatory note

Extracurricular activities are an important part of the system of lifelong education and try to create conditions for the development of children’s intellectual and creative abilities. One hour a week of fine arts in grades 1-4 is not enough to develop a child’s creative and spatial imagination, to get acquainted with various artistic materials, directions and a variety of techniques. In the sphere of communication in classes offered in extracurricular activities, the child’s character is significantly formed: initiative, self-confidence, perseverance, sincerity, honesty, etc., and his creative abilities develop. The special value of the classes is that they can help children realize the best that they have.

The program touches on the problem of children’s humane attitude towards the world around them and familiarization with Russian folk art. Education is based on the principle of personality-oriented education of children, the focus of which is the personality of the child realizing his potential. Therefore, the program provides individual work with children, taking into account the age and psychophysiological characteristics of the child

The relevance of the program is due to the fact that there is a convergence of the content of the program with the requirements of life. Currently, there is a need for new approaches to teaching aesthetic arts that are capable of solving modern problems of creative perception and personality development as a whole.

In the system of aesthetic, creative education of the younger generation, a special role belongs to the fine arts.The ability to see and understand the beauty of the surrounding world contributes tonurturing a culture of feelings, developing artistic and aesthetic taste, labor and creative activity, fosters determination, perseverance, a sense of mutual assistance, and provides the opportunity for creative self-realization of the individual.

Fine arts classes are an effective means of introducing children to the study of folk traditions. Pupils demonstrate their knowledge, skills and abilities to their peers by exhibiting their work.

Program goals:

    To develop technical drawing skills in children.

    Introduce children to various non-traditional drawing techniques.

    Learn to create your own unique image using various drawing techniques.

    To form artistic thinking and moral personality traits through various methods of drawing.

Program objectives:

4. Development of creative features and visual skills; expanding the range of feelings and visual ideas, fantasies, imagination; nurturing emotional responsiveness to the phenomena of the surrounding reality, to works of art.

5. Teaching artistic literacy, developing practical work skills.

General characteristics of the course of extracurricular activities.

Distinctive features of this educational program from those already existing in thisarea is that the program is focused on the use of a wide range of various additional material in the fine arts.

The program provides that each lesson is aimed at mastering the basics of fine art, at introducing students to active cognitive and creative work. The process of teaching fine arts is built on the unity of active and exciting methods and techniques of educational work, in which, in the process of assimilation of knowledge, laws and rules of fine arts, students develop creative principles.

The educational process has a number of advantages:

    leisure activities;

    training is organized on a voluntary basis by all parties (students, parents, teachers);

    students are given the opportunity to satisfy their interests and combine various areas and forms of study;

    It is allowed for students to move from one group to another (by age).

The artistic activity of schoolchildren in the classroom finds various forms of expression:

    image on a plane and in volume (from nature, from memory, from imagination);

    decorative and constructive work;

    perception of reality;

    discussion of the work of comrades, the results of one’s own collective creativity and individual work in the classroom;

    selection of illustrative material for the topics being studied;

    listening to musical and literary works.

The thematic integrity of the program helps to ensure strong emotional contacts between schoolchildren and art and introduce them to artistic culture.

The program is based on the following general directions: action and joy, passion for work.

Children's participation in an artistic event gives them a feeling of joy. The program contains an approximate amount of knowledge and is divided into classes, which allows you to build the logic and structure of studying art at your own discretion.

Organization of the work of the theater studio "Vesnushki" as part of extracurricular activities in elementary school

“We must greatly value, support, develop and properly use young passion, ardent passion for what we love, for which young people came to school.”

K.S. Stanislavsky

At the present stage of a dynamically developing society, more and more attention is paid to the goals and objectives of school education. If earlier the main goal of education was the comprehensive and harmonious development of the individual, now it is complemented by the need to educate an active and creative personality.

Modern society needs proactive, creative people who are able to find new ways and solutions to modern socio-economic and cultural problems. Therefore, the problem of developing the moral and creative qualities of an individual is currently becoming particularly relevant.

Through theatrical activities, the creative and socially active personality of junior schoolchildren is developed and formed, capable of understanding universal human values, proudly preserving and appreciating the achievements of national culture and art.

Theatrical activities should be introduced specifically in primary school, since children have enormous potential for developing their creative abilities. The reasons for this are:

1.Age.

2. There is certain life experience.

3. A certain level of knowledge and skills.

4.Ability for mental analysis.

5. The makings of creative development.

One of the pressing problems of pedagogy and psychology is the development of the child’s artistic and creative abilities. Artistic creativity is an effective means of educating and developing a creative personality. Theater is able to introduce people to universal spiritual values, helps to reveal and realize their abilities and creative potential.

One of the extracurricular activities included in my class program is the creation of a theater studio called “Freckles.”

Purpose Such activity is the formation of the individual creative personality of a junior schoolchild.

To achieve this goal, it is necessary to solve the following tasks:

    Creating a favorable emotional atmosphere, testing your creative powers, overcoming shyness and fear of speaking in front of an audience.

    Formation of skills and habits of behavior culture on stage.

    Development of interest in theater as an art genre.

    Development of interest in performing arts, visual and auditory attention, memory, imagination and resourcefulness, sense of rhythm, thinking, diction and so on.

    Fostering goodwill and responsiveness in relationships with peers, the ability to create collectively, and a responsible attitude towards the results of one’s work and the creative work of the team.

The theatrical activities of students in elementary school should be aimed at educating and developing in them an understanding, intelligent, versatile, interesting personality with artistic taste and their own opinion.

The main types of activities that I use when working with primary schoolchildren in the theater studio can be presented in the following diagram:

Figure 1. Types of theater activities in elementary school

Theater miniature is a group of artists who select small plays and theatrical productions of various genres, expressed in miniature, for the theater’s repertoire. We use ready-made miniatures and our own compositions.

Theater game develops play behavior, the ability to be creative in any task, through play they learn to communicate with peers and adults in the proposed life situations.

All games can be divided into two types: general educational games and special theatrical games.

General educational games help the child adapt to the school community, and helps to successfully study in primary school. All children are divided into mini-groups - spectators and actors (4 people). Students discuss events and express their opinions from different positions.

Special theater games necessary when working on sketches and performances. They develop the imagination and imagination necessary for playing on stage, where everything is fiction. Promotes transformation in the proposed situations. Special theatrical games introduce children to stage action using fairy tales familiar from childhood. For example, “Turnip”, “The Three Little Pigs” and others.

Rhythmoplasty– these are complex rhythmic, musical, plastic games and exercises that promote the development of harmony of the body with the outside world, free and expressive body movements. The development of a child goes from movements and emotions to words. It is easier for children to express feelings and emotions through the plasticity of their body. Interesting plastic images are created under the influence of music. Musical works of different moods develop the child’s imagination and help to creatively use plastic expressiveness.

During classes I perform special exercises in alternate tension and relaxation of various muscle groups. Only after achieving certain results in this direction can we move on to creating plastic images. Rhythmoplastic exercises and games develop, first of all, flexibility and the ability to control one’s body, and influence the child’s emotions.

Culture and technique of speech includes games and exercises to develop breathing and freedom of the speech apparatus, the ability to master correct articulation, clear diction, varied intonation, speech logic and orthoepy. This section includes a variety of word games, humorous word riddles, and tongue twisters that practice different sounds.

All exercises can be divided into 3 types:

    Breathing and articulation exercises.

    Diction and intonation exercises.

    Creative games with words.

Fundamentals of theatrical culture- mastery by schoolchildren of basic knowledge and concepts, terms of theatrical art. Topics included in this section:

    Features of theatrical art.

    Types of theatrical art.

    The birth of the performance.

    Theater through the eyes of the actor and spectator.

    Spectator behavior culture.

Work on the play includes the following steps:

    Selecting and discussing a play with children.

    Dividing the play into episodes and creatively retelling them for children.

    Working on individual episodes.

    Creation of a presentation for this performance.

    Searching for music and illustrations for individual episodes, staging dances. Creation of sketches of scenery and costumes together with children and parents.

    Working with the text of the play and individual episodes. Clarifying the performance of individual characters.

    Work on the expressiveness of speech and the authenticity of the characters’ behavior on stage.

    Rehearsal of individual episodes in different casts with details of scenery and props, with musical accompaniment.

    Rehearsal of the entire play entirely in costumes. Clarification of the time frame of the performance. Appointment of those responsible for changing scenery and props.

    Premiere of the performance.

    Reruns of the play.

    Preparation of a photo report.

Also very important in preparing a performance is the competent use of material and technical support, namely:

    Computer hardware (laptop, projector, stereo system, etc.);

    Costumes, scenery;

    Stage makeup.

Expected results of the work of the theater studio "Vesnushki"

As a result of the children’s work on the creation of the performance and their participation in the production, the main goal is achieved: the identification and formation of the individual creative personality of each student.

During the school year, each child tried himself as an actor on stage, which made it possible to develop an interest in theater and performing arts as a multidimensional genre. In the classroom there is a favorable and friendly atmosphere between children for communication and self-realization. Children's participation in collective creativity allows them to instill responsibility not only for their own work, but also respect for the creativity of others.

By the end of the school year, students have the concept:

    About the theater and its types.

    About the elementary technical means of the stage.

    About the stage design.

    About the norms of behavior on stage and in the auditorium.

Can:

    Express your attitude to phenomena in life and on stage.

    Think figuratively.

    Concentrate.

    Feel yourself in the stage space.

Acquire the following skills:

    Communication with a partner.

    Elementary acting skills.

    Figurative perception of the surrounding world.

    Adequate and imaginative response to external stimuli.

    Collective creativity.

Children in my class eagerly participate in school and city events, prepare performances and themed holidays: “Autumn Festival”, “New Year’s Tale”, “Day of Good Deeds”, “Visiting a Fairy Tale”, “Holiday for Future First-Graders” and so on Further.

The children of my class have been studying at the Vesnushka theater studio since the 1st grade. For four years, a program of extracurricular activities aimed at developing a creative personality has been implemented. The guys are not afraid of public speaking and treat their audience with great respect. Most children overcame their shyness and self-doubt, which had a positive impact on the educational process. By memorizing the texts of plays, songs, and monologues, children develop their memory. This will help you adapt faster when moving to fifth grade. By the end of the fourth year of study at the Vesnushki theater studio, the children independently distribute roles in the play among themselves. At rehearsals, they analyze the work of each actor, give advice, and help them get used to the character of the character. In my opinion, this area of extracurricular activities is necessary in elementary school.

Primary school is, of course, one of the most important periods in a child’s life. After all, the success and achievements of the student in the future will depend on how this stage goes. We are confident that in order to successfully assimilate the acquired knowledge and, as a result, obtain excellent exam results, the student must feel comfortable and must go to school with joy.

Private school "Moskvich" - full-day school

Therefore, we have created a truly homely atmosphere for our students. Small class sizes allow the teacher to pay more attention to each child. We use a variety of forms of presenting material, due to which the children do not experience unnecessary stress and gain knowledge and skills with great pleasure and desire. During the day, children are surrounded by the care of teachers, a speech therapist, a psychologist and a doctor.

Our school has everything so that children can study and develop effectively from morning to evening: modern classrooms, a canteen, places for independent work on homework, sports grounds. We care not only that the child receives the necessary knowledge in accordance with the program, but also that he grows up healthy and active. Participation in competitions and olympiads and work on projects instills in students the value of knowledge and develops the ability to analyze their achievements and capabilities. The Moskvich school conducts constant independent monitoring of knowledge with the participation of the Moscow Register of Education Quality. High performance confirms the quality level of teaching subjects.

Teaching English is based on a communicative approach and the active use of modern techniques. Our teachers help overcome the language barrier in an accessible and fun way, teaching children to speak English easily and fluently, understand English, read and write. ESL and Cambridge electives contribute to deepening language knowledge.

In the afternoon, a teacher-educator works in the classroom. An active walk, an individual schedule for attending clubs and extra classes, and doing homework are carried out under the strict supervision of the teacher.

The second half of the day is also additional time for the comprehensive development of the child’s abilities and his creative development. Children enjoy attending numerous clubs and sections. Our students really enjoy excursion activities in museums and parks. Children are happy to participate in school holidays, as this gives them the opportunity to feel successful and reveal themselves in a new capacity.

This is how we lay a solid foundation for student self-realization in middle and high school.
